Here’s another fun and easy project using scraps of material and a recycled container!😀

I absolutely love being able to recycle items and bringing them back to life as something totally different and useful!

These adorable Flowers and container pretty much steals the spotlight! !

So I know you have some scraps of material and a container you can recycle into a vase hanging around!

Let’s get ready to create something spectacular!

Supplies You’ll Need:

  • Scrap pieces of material

  • Scissors

  • Hot glue

  • A piece of card stock paper or thin piece of cardboard

  • Lacey Trim

  • Buttons or an embellishment of some sort

  • Wooden skewers, dowels or branches for stem

  • Wooden spoon or a dowel

  • Twine

  • Dixie Belle Wax Brown

  • Needle and thread

  • You will need 5 lids or wooden circles whatever you choose to put in the middle of each flower.

Get the material you are going to use together then trace out 5 circles per flower .

I used my large coffee cup as my guide

Like I said you will need 5 circles for each flower.

Take your circles and fold in half .

Sew a running stitch along the edge of the half circle .

Make sure your thread is long enough to thread each petal on .

Start pulling it together as you go just don’t pull to hard you don’t want to break the thread.

Keep adding them on .

You should have this when you are done .

If your material is a little think it won’t close all the way but that’s ok you will cover the hole at the end .

I had these lids handy . They were the perfect size I needed!

I covered it with material gluing it on.

This is what it looked like .

I wasn’t worried about it not being smooth because I knew I was going to put my Lacey ribbon on .

I love this ribbon ! I honestly don’t remember where I got it I have had it for a long time .

I glued a piece all around the lid.

I needed a better template then my cup so I cut a circle out of card stock paper I had handy.

I did the same steps with the other flowers I made .

I love this material!

Look how pretty they are !

Once they were done I decided to use some branches I gathered from my yard for the stems!

I glued them on .

Of course I had to give them a little grungy look!

This step is totally up to you!

I just love them !

Let’s now make the holder for them!

I had a tall plastic container and some brown craft paper .

So I knew that would work pretty well to create a holder for my flowers!

I cut it to fit and glued it on .

I then sanded the top and bottom edges .

I tied some twine and embellished it with a little bling!

Of course I also grudged it up a bit!

I used my word stamp to add a little more whimsy feel to it!

So pretty!

This is such a fun project I know you will want to create these!
