Here’s a great Winter project !
How adorable is this Snowman Shelf Setter!
You don’t really need a lot of items to create this beautiful piece!
You just need to Recycle some cardboard for this project!
It’s amazing what you can create with it!
I absolutely love being able to create something special with leftover items and bring them back to life as something totally different and simply beautiful!
This beautiful Snowman piece is perfect for this year’s holiday decor!
So I’m sure you have all you need on hand so let’s get started !
Supplies You’ll Need:
Cardboard
Material for your bow
Scissors
Paint I used acrylic, and chalk, Cascade , Black, Orange, Red and white
Lightweight Spackling or Snow Tex
Embellishments of your choosing
Hot Glue
Artificial Christmas greenery
Cornstarch
Snowflake rubber stamps
Once you have gathered your items you are ready to put them together!

I got my piece of cardboard mine measured about 7” W x 9” H .

I rounded up the top like this.

Here is the pattern for the hat and face .

I painted my cardboard this beautiful Cascade color.

It’s really a pretty color.

While that was drying I painted my hat black .
I painted my face white I did use a little cornstarch to thicken up my white paint a little bit.

I let everything dry .

I used these adorable snowflake rubber stamps to stamp my background.
So pretty !

I love how it is turning out! Don’t you?

I glued my face and hat on .

I then gave my cheeks some color , added my eyes and mouth.
For fun I added a clock hand for the nose ! I painted it orange!
Remember you can use anything for your nose !
I have used old keys, sticks, salt dough shaped noses the sky is the limit! Have fun !
Then I highlighted the hat with white here and there.

I then took an old toothbrush and gave it a nice speckle with watered down white paint.

I love this look ! So quick and easy!

I added a little piece of material for the band on the hat!

I added a nice little arrangement to his hat consisting of a rag loopy bow, a Poinsettia flower, a little Christmas ball, a few artificial greenery sprigs and some Christmas berries! So pretty!

I had a large wooden snowflake so I painted it white and sprinkled some fine glitter on it !

I glued it to the top part of the piece.

I made a fun hang tag and also added that to it too!

Finally I took my Dixie Belle brown wax and gave it a nice grunge effect!

I did use a little spackling and applied it here and there to the arrangement on the hat and sprinkled it with glitter!
You can use Snow Tex if you want to instead.

How fun is this! 😀❤️☃️
