Decoupaging clothespins with floral napkins is a creative and enjoyable crafting project.
it also makes such a wonderful gift !
Here's how I did mine. First Gather your materials.. You will need
wooden Clorhespins
Floral Napkins
Elmers Glue or Mod Podge
Small Paintbrush
scissors, and a flat surface to work on.
You can pick up these at so many places ! Walmart, Family Dollar , Dollar General and Amazon.
Make sure when you are working with napkins you always remove every layer .
Some napkins have 2 layers , some have 3 you just want to work with the decorative top layer!
Or your project will peel off .
I used Elmers glue for decoupaging you can also use Mod Podge if you prefer.
I brushed my glue on .
Then I laid my napkin on top .
Once it was dry I cut them apart and sanded any rough edges .
You can stop here if you like but I wanted mine a little vintage looking so I rubbed my ink pad across them to give it that old look.
There you go they are perfect for so many things !
• Chip clips
• Clip to a gift to hold the name tag on
• Clip to your seasonal tree for ornaments
I'm sure you will find a lot of uses for them !
Such a fun and inexpensive project!
You can use seasonal napkins for different times of the year!
I hope you get creative and give these a try !
