Here’s another fun and easy project you just have to create this Fall season!😀🎃🍁
You don’t really need a lot of items to create this Faux concrete looking little Pumpkin!
Choose whatever size plastic pumpkin you want to work with!
Transform it into this beautiful Fall decor you will love to display !
I’m sure you can find all you need quickly and inexpensively so let’s create this cutie!
Supplies You’ll Need:
Plastic pumpkin (any size)
Paint I chose the color Castle
Cornstarch or Flour
Hot knife burning tool or Exacto knife you can even use a wood burning tool
Material of your choosing for the handle
This is the paint I chose!
It has a really pretty color.
Pier to painting I got my pumpkin I first removed the handle which popped off very easily.
Used my wood burning tool to cut out the eyes, nose and mouth.
Then I applied my paint.
My paint was pretty thick so I only needed one coat .
Why it was still a little wet I sprinkled my cornstarch on pretty thick .
You can use flour instead if you choose to.
Make sure you give it a good coat !
I let it dry for several hrs .
You can even let it dry over night .
I then took a soft brush and started brushing the extra cornstarch off!
Take your time and keep brushing until it looks the way you want it .
I then tied little strips of material on my handle !
I made it nice and full!
I just love it ! Pop in a battery operated tea light and it’s done.
