Sunflower made with Book Pages

I’m always on the hunt for Fun, Simple, Budget Friendly and Beautiful projects to bring to you !

Here is another one I believe you will love!

Supplies you will need:

• book pages from a recycled book

• jar lid

• a little poly filler

• hot glue

• twine

• some type of rice paper or any paper you choose for the middle .

I’ll explain what I used below

This is a quick and easy project!

You probably have everything you need right at your fingertips!

Let’s get ready to make these beauties!

I gathered my supplies and was ready to create!

I took my jar lid and the paper I used was a recycled tea bag.

Once we were done brewing tea I went ahead and gently opened it and emptied the tea and let the flat tea bags dry .

I used the large tea bags.

Because of brewing the tea it gave it that grunge look . Which I love .

I got a little stuffing placed it in my lid and hot glued my tea bag paper on it .

Once you are done you can trim the excess off.

You should have something like this .

I then took my book pages and twisted them and bent them in half like this .

Don’t twist them to tight.

I used about 10 pages but it will depend on how big your lid is .

Just keep gluing them on .

I cut a circle out of one page to cover the back .

This is the front look how pretty!

I did take a little Dixie Belle wax in brown and gave it a little more grunge. You can skip this step it’s totally up to you .

Before I glued my back circle I took a little twine and made a hanger for it then I glued the circle on !

It gives it a nice finished look!
