Beautiful Heart Topiary

I love decorating for each Holiday even if it's just a little touch !

Like this super easy budget friendly Heart Topiary!

This Blog is just on creating the Heart but I will do another one on the container I put it in .

Super easy as well!

Supplies you will need:

• Red Tissue paper

• Cardboard for hearts

• Decorative paper straw

Or whatever you want to use for a stem .

• Elmer Glue or Mod Podge

• Container of your choice

Trace and cut out two hearts from your cardboard.

Cut your tissue into squares you don't have to have them even !

I used Mod Podge but you can use Elmer's glue if you like they both work well!

I spread a little glue on the cardboard heart and started sticking my pieces of tissue on ...

I worked a small section at a time !

It is easier to roll the tissue on a pencil then press it down on the glue .

Continue until you have both hearts done .

Once you are done with both of them you are now ready to glue the stem in the middle then glue the Hearts together.

I just used hot glue for this part .

Look how adorable this is !

It's so pretty and so budget friendly !

I used an empty paper towel roll I cut it to fit the height of my container!

I went ahead and wrapped the bottom of my stem with some paper towels then slipped it into the paper towel roll and then glued it to the bottom of my container .

I then used just a little poly fill to make it a little more sturdy!

I filled it with some red buttons!

It just looks adorable!

There you have it!

I hope you give this beautiful Heart Topiary a try !
