Here is a fabulous project you can create in no time!

This also makes such a beautiful gift!

What a fun way to welcome the holiday season with this beautiful Clay Angel!

You don’t need a lot of items to create this!

This project is perfect for this Holiday season!😀 ❄️

I absolutely love being able to create something special especially when you can keep it affordable too!

Let’s gather our items and get started !

Supplies You’ll Need:

  • Air Dry Clay

  • A decorative rolling pin

  • Elmer’s Glue or mod Podge

  • Fine Glitter

  • Hot glue

  • E6000 glue

  • Twine or Ribbon

  • Biscuit cutter

ree

Once you get your items you are ready to start.

ree

I took some clay and flattened it out .

I had a smooth rolling pin that I used to get it nice and flat .

You can use a bottle or glass if you don’t have a plain rolling pin.

ree

Keep in mind the thinner it is the quicker it will dry.

ree

This is my favorite part I took my fancy rolling pin and rolled over it !

So pretty!

ree

Then I took my biscuit cutter and cut out a circle.

You will actually need two of these circles.

ree

You can actually stop here and turn these into beautiful flat ornaments just make a hole at the top so you can run a piece of twine or ribbon to be able to hang it .

ree

Ok so now we are going to make the wings.

I just cut it down the middle and opened it up .

You can set this aside while we work on the body.

ree

I went ahead and folded the circle for the body like this .

ree

So once that was done I went back to my wings. I rounded off the top part of the wings like in the picture.

ree

You can wait for both body and wings to dry before you put it together or carefully put the body over the wings.

I added a little. E 6000 and hot glue . Make sure you let it lay flat it will take at least 24 hrs to dry completely if it’s thicker it might take longer.

ree

You can roll a ball like this for the head or use a large wooden bead .

ree

I then rolled a long piece like this for the halo.

ree

I did the same thing I added a little E 6000 and Hot glue when I glued both of them on .

ree

I then brushed a little clear glue and sprinkled my Fine dust glitter on it !

ree

It’s just so beautiful the sparkle makes it so magical!

ree

That’s it !

Now just let it dry !

Once it’s nice and dry you can attach a ribbon or twine for a hanger or you can use it as a tree topper.

You can also paint it if you like just do that before adding the glitter …

I just wanted mine that clay color!

So quick and simple !

This would make such a fun and inexpensive gift! I know I would be tickled to receive one!

You must give this a try!
