🐰 Budget-Friendly Air Clay Egg tray!

If you love creating beautiful things without spending a fortune, you are going to adore this little project!

This adorable tray was made with Air Dry Clay and a beautiful napkin!

Yes! I love creating with simple, inexpensive items and turning them into something cute and creative.

You can use these as:

  • Egg holder

  • Holding earrings

  • Holding candy

  • Shelf decor

This is so simple, and just plain sweet!

🧶 What You’ll Need

  • Cardboard egg carton

  • Decorative napkin

  • Mod Podge or Elmer’s glue

  • Scissors

That’s it! See? Budget-friendly and simple.

šŸ‡ How I Made Mine

First, I cut the top lid off my egg carton

I then took a nice chunk of my Air Dry Clay and rolled it out the length of my egg carton.

Maybe sure you do a nice thick layer of Clay!

Then drape it over your carton then gently press an egg in each groove to create the nice indentation of each egg.

I then trimmed the edges .

I took my left over pieces that I cut off and rolled them to create handles .

Once you are done let it dry overnight!

Once everything was dry I applied my napkin I used Elmer’s glue.

Make sure you have removed each layer of paper off your napkin so you are only using the decorative part.

I love this print !

Just gently glue your napkin.

Look how beautiful!

Once mine was dry I grunged it up a little with my Dixie Belle brown wax but you don’t have to if you don’t like that look!

That’s it ! I just love it so beautiful!

šŸ’› Why I Love This Project

  • It uses inexpensive supplies

  • It’s beginner-friendly

  • It works up quickly

And you know me I’m always looking for ways to create something beautiful without breaking the bank.

Simple. Sweet. Creative.

Just the way we like it. šŸ’•

If you make some, I’d love to see yours!
